Dr. Wynetta Frazier retired recently from the University of Illinois/Chicago after serving 22 years as the Assistant Director of Early Intervention. Currently, Dr. Frazier is a consultant in Health and Human Services to the National Healthy Start Program. She also serves as commissioner to the Chicago Commission on Human Relations completing her fifth term as appointed by the Mayor of Chicago, IL.

 

Dr. Frazier is a graduate of Depaul University, Governor State University, and received a Ph.D. from Columbia Pacific University in San Francisco, CA. Also, serving in the ministry, Dr. Frazier is a graduate of William Roberts Bible Institute. She annually attends classes in the Missionary Academy of Third Jurisdiction ILL churches of God in Christ. Dr. Frazier is the Assistant Pastor of The Life Center of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor T. L. Barrett. She serves as the overseer of the Women's Ministry.

 

Dr. Frazier is the Assistant State Supervisor of Women in the Third Jurisdiction. Dr. Frazier is the author of many articles and presentation throughout the US on family Relationships and Children/Youth with Special Needs.

 

Dr. Frazier has received numerous awards and honors including the Leadership Award of the YWCA; Women of Merit, Operation Push; and Beautiful People, Chicago Urban League. She received the title of President Emeritus from the National Hook-up of Black Women Inc. after her 25th anniversary as president.

 

Dr. Frazier has three adult Children, grandchildren, and the love and support of her extended family. Dr. Frazier has a passion for working with families, which she believes is the foundation of our community.
